On the Thursday, we grabbed Mom and hopped
a ferry over to Ocracoke Island. We spent the day carousing with
Blackbeard, shopping hippie stores, and of course finding a café. This was
the first time in the 10 years that Mom's been visiting that she was allowed
inside Ocracoke lighthouse! Certainly a very historic visit on many
levels.
